Thirty years of experience as a commercial litigation attorney in state and federal courts at all levels, including court and jury trials and class actions, contested proceedings before administrative tribunals, and judicial arbitrations. The majority of work has been in commercial cases with significant experience including all forms of contractual disputes, as well as banking, insurance, securities, and school desegregation cases. Has tried and arbitrated construction defect cases, primarily representing owners, but also architects, lenders, suppliers, and contractors on various occasions.
Has been actively involved in the entire range of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms for almost entire legal career. Has been a neutral arbitrator with the AAA for more than 25 years, arbitrating substantially more than 250 cases to completion and has been a member of the AAA's national Board of Directors.
