Over 20 years' experience practicing law. Has represented numerous clients in over 300 commercial transactions, with some transactions involving up to $2 million. Representation of clients, included, business asset acquisitions, real estate acquisitions, sales and transfers, franchise purchase and sales, corporate acquisitions, sales, mergers, partnerships and related matters.
Since 2006, has served as a Hearing Officer for the City of Coral Gables, in Miami, Florida, ruling on Code Enforcement issues and regularly as a Special Magistrate for the city of Coral Gables code board regarding mitigation cases. As a special magistrate, presides at an administrative trial-type hearing to resolve a dispute between a government agency (City of Coral Gables) and someone affected by a decision of that agency. Within that position, duties include: administering oaths, taking testimony, ruling on questions of evidence and law, and making factual and legal determinations. Has also mediated over 200 cases since 2001, mostly involving commercial, construction, real estate and family related disputes. Attended the 2012 AAA/ICDR Neutrals Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, as a participant and speaker.
