Melissa Auerbach has devoted her career to representing unions and workers. She is a partner in the Chicago law firm of Dowd, Bloch, Bennett, Cervone, Auerbach & Yokich. She represents unions in all aspects of labor law and related litigation, including in state and federal trial and appellate courts; before state and federal administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Illinois Labor Relations Board, and the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board; and in labor arbitrations. She also advises unions with respect to organizing campaigns and strategies, collective bargaining, freedom of information and open meetings act issues, and proposed legislation. Melissa graduated from Yale University and Harvard Law School. She is admitted to the Illinois bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh, Third, Tenth, and District of Columbia Circuits; and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Melissa is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
