Mark R. Bradford
Mark Bradford is a member of the firm's Management Committee and Chair of its Appellate Practice Group. He has argued cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court, the Minnesota Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the Iowa Court of Appeals. He was part of an appellate team that achieved a reversal of a $52.5 million verdict against an insurer, and a trial team that achieved a $21.6 million verdict against a railroad in a wrongful death case. Mark was also part of a trial and appellate team that obtained an $800 million arbitration award against a large computer-device company (affirmed by the Minnesota Supreme Court). He is recognized as a Minnesota Super Lawyer and was selected as an “Up and Coming” Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer in 2009.
Mark serves on the Minnesota Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Appellate Procedure, and teaches Appellate Advocacy at the St. Thomas School of Law. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association Appellate Council and the Fourth District Ethics Committee, and is a Barrister with the Douglas K. Amdahl Inn of Court. In addition, Mark is a member of the American Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association.
Mark received his law degree from the DePaul University College of Law, where he graduated in the top one percent of the class and received CALI awards for the highest examination grades in antitrust, legal writing, criminal law, and property. During law school, Mark served on the Executive Board of the DePaul Law Review and also completed an externship with the Honorable William Bauer, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
