Julian Ku is Professor of Law, John D. Gregory Research Fellow, and Faculty Director of International Programs at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. His primary research interest is the relationship of international law to domestic law. He has published more than 40 law review articles, book chapters, and symposia essays. He is co-author of Taming Globalization: International Law, the U.S. Constitution, and the New World Order (Oxford University Press 2012). Before joining the Hofstra faculty, Professor Ku worked as an associate in the litigation department of a major New York law firm, as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and as a lecturer in law at the University of Virginia. He is a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School.
