Jeff is a former Corrections Officer for the State of Michigan.  During his 18 years in uniform, he also held elected union positions within the Michigan Corrections Organization, the exclusive bargaining representative for Michigan Corrections Officers and Forensic Security Assistants.  During his last three years of employment with the State he applied, completed, and graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School with a focus in Litigation.

In 2007, Jeff left employment with the State of Michigan, was hired on by the Michigan Corrections Organization as a Labor Relations Representative.  In his 15 years with MCO, he has been elevated to the Director of MCO LEGAL and serves as General Counsel.  MCO LEGAL is responsible for developing and conducting advocacy training for MCO Union Officials around the State of Michigan.

Finally, Jeff has a private practice devoted to criminal defense, and the defense of Non-Exclusively Represented Employees in the Michigan Civil Service Grievance system.
