Cassie Ehrenberg is a partner who joined Cleary, Josem & Trigiani LLP after clerking for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Cassie has been representing a variety of Taft-Hartley funds and unions for over ten years. For the firm’s union clients, Cassie has been responsible for arbitrations, mediations, collective bargaining, and representation before federal and state agencies such as the PLRB and NLRB. She has also litigated issues for our union clients in state and federal courts on a wide variety of issues such First Amendment injunction matters, the duty of fair representation, maintenance of retiree health benefits, election rights issues, and whistleblower claims.
For the firm’s employee benefit fund clients, she has revised SPDs and drafted plan amendments, litigated a variety of issues in federal courts (including such issues as fiduciary liability, delinquency claims, and withdrawal liability), conducted review and approval of QDROs, and given general counsel to trustees and plan administrators on a broad range of issues. Cassie graduated (with honors) from Dartmouth College and Cornell Law School. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as a number of federal district and appellate courts.
