Faculty and Summary
This 32-hour course, provides a comprehensive immersion into the essential skills and knowledge required of all mediators. The standard curriculum provides the needed introductory training for practicing mediators and appeals to a variety of learning styles. Legal training and education or prior experience with mediation, while helpful, are not necessary to fully participate in and benefit from all the course has to offer.
Through engaging dialogue, interactive exercises and simulated mediation facilitated by a faculty of experienced mediators, you'll acquire:

In addition to all course materials, a continental breakfast and lunch each day, the course registration fee includes a complimentary one (1)-year basic subscription to AAA Mediation.org® (aaamediation.org), an AAA technology innovation that provides training opportunities to both aspiring and experienced mediators, assists them with developing/marketing their practices, and connects them with a global community of users, practitioners, academics and ADR thought leaders.
If you are interested in joining a specific mediation panel, you should check with the appropriate governing body to inquire whether this course satisfies that panel's training requirements.

If you are an AAA Panelist please note this program does not satisfy your annual Arbitrator Continuing Education requirement.
No specific arrangements have been made with area hotels. Those coming from out of town are encouraged to check one or more travel sites, i.e. Travelocity, Hotels.com, etc. to find accommodations meeting their specific needs.
West LegalEdcenter is procuring continuing legal education (CLE) credits on behalf of American Arbitration Association. This program is available for CLE credits in California, New York and Pennsylvania.
