Faculty and Summary
This 32-hour course, provides a comprehensive immersion into the essential skills and knowledge required of all mediators. The standard curriculum provides the needed introductory training for practicing mediators and appeals to a variety of learning styles. Legal training and education or prior experience with mediation, while helpful, are not necessary to fully participate in and benefit from all the course has to offer.
Through engaging dialogue, interactive exercises and simulated mediation facilitated by a faculty of experienced mediators, you'll acquire:

West LegalEdcenter is procuring continuing legal education (CLE) credits on behalf of American Arbitration Association. This program is available for CLE credits in California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Credit amounts vary by attendance verification and jurisdictional rules and cannot be confirmed in advance of the program.
This mediation training is approved as Initial Mediation Training under Part 146 by the New York State Unified Court System’s Office of ADR Programs. Final placement on any court roster is at the discretion of the local Administrative Judge and participation in a course that is either approved or pending approval does not guarantee placement on a local court roster.
