60 Minutes This recorded presentation addresses numerous discrimination issues based on race, color, national origin, disability, gender and caregivers. Solutions and practical suggestions to avoid the pitfalls are discussed. In addition, there is a focus on individuals with physical or psychological problems and disabilities attempting to negotiate new workplace environments; the increase in hate crimes; pregnancy discrimination; pay disparities between women/other minorities and men. The laws enforced by the EEOC protect the worker from employment discrimination. The presentation concludes with a dialogue on trending EEOC issues and the various types of discrimination that is prohibited.
